Luhan will have his small screen debut! He just got casted for new cdrama 择天记 Fighter of the Destiny adapted from the novel of the same name. His leading female actress could be rising star Guli Nezha. Indeed, the female lead is not confirmed and the offer is between Guli Nezha or Xu Ling Yue.

Even if Luhan Studio may be shaddy when it comes to rumor management, they sure are good with hooking him up with the biggest next hits! The trend is definitely in fantasy period drama and Fighter of the Destiny is all about that.

He also finds love.

Guli Nazha? She’s captivating onscreen, but her acting says otherwise. All of a sudden I’m seeing her everywhere, lol She was in that fox drama followed by The Classic of Mountains and Seas. She was a guest in God of War and Go Goal Fighting. Her new drama, First Love, is airing and then CP5 will air in June. What a busy gal!

Her acting definitely improved compared to when she debuted (she did Xuan Yuan Sword if you are curious), but her acting is still lacking. Yop, now that you list all her projects, she does sound to be everywhere! And let’s not forget that the girl also has a boyfriend. Busy busy bee~

The novel have this peaceful and tranquil atmosphere in it. I have no idea if the series wil be able to capture that feeling. They change several things from the original story (Chen Cang San’s reason to go to the city is because he’s the one dying, not his master).

It sounds like a big project, especially considering that they casted Luhan for the first time in a drama! I am not a 100% won over by Guli Nezha’s acting though… Ahhh, I see! Maybe, they wanted want the male lead to look too weak! I hope Luhan will do well in this project.

Does the drama has the same title as the novel?
I read the tl novel and it is entitled “way of choices”. Anyway, i’m here because i like the novel though i’ve only read until the latest tld chapter, 271.
Looking forward to the series though i really do think they changed a lot from the novel. I wish to see gou hanshi moving huhu and i ship chen changsheng with loulou not xu yourong 😦

I like the drama Whats i didnt get was how come changcheng wasent the divene empress son when he das the one who saved her when she was in trouble nota the other one i think changcheng should be the real empress son he helped her alot
