    I am so excited for this drama. I have seen a lot of bts pics of her action scenes and I can’t wait. She is working really hard doing her own stunts. I hope the leads have a lot of chemistry and we get a good story. Has anyone read the book? I think the hype for the drama is big, so I hope it pays off. ZLY seems to be having fun on set.

    • Apparently there is a lot of action scenes and the character itself is super interesting! I hope for a good chemistry with Lin Gengxin, but in general, I think that most of the story is focused on the girl. Which makes me happy because I know ZLY can a 100% pull it off!
      I didn’t read the book, but I remember someone else commented and said she did ^^
      Yes, she seems to be having fun and enjoying the whole filming process! Happy for her and the rest of the team, let’s make another hit!

        “most of the story is focused on the girl” yesss I am ready for this. After “The Mystic Nine and Noble Aspirations/LofChusen” where it is mainly guy oriented, I need a drama that is centered around the girl.
        I hope they have really good chemistry too. I saw Lin Gengxin in BBJX and I liked him. Even if I didnt want to because I am 4th prince for life :P. But reading some comments about his acting in other projects makes me feel a bit apprehensive. They looked cute in the bts pics I saw, so I am still hoping he brings his A game.

      • Same! I think Princess Agents will be her biggest drama to come as she will really be the center of the drama again. I missed her in a palace setting. She is going to slay so hard. Lin Gengxin is not a bad actor, but he obviously did badly in God of War. Hopefully that is a one time thing, because else, I am skipping his scenes!! LOL Same, I can see some chemistry already from the still above ^^

    Really looking forward to this one! Saw a BTS of her and Shawn holding hands, and they look cute! I wish they were the end-game, but if they do it correctly with the angst and heartbreak between former (?) lovers, it’s gonna be epic! I’m such a sucker for angsty romance, lol. Let’s hope that they don’t turn Shawn into a mindless 2-dimensional angry guy that is only out for revenge..

      I have watched Shawn Dou in two movies “我是女王” and that oh-dear-why-did-they-do-it BBJX movie remake with Ivy Chen and he impressed me both times. LGX was so boring in God Of War and I honestly can’t even remember him in that Detective Dee movie so I really really hope that ZLY can sprinkle her chemistry dust with him in this show. That nose, though, just no for me unfortunately. 🙂

      I harbor hope that Shawn Dou can pull off the “but I still love you even though I am all evil now” persona and ZLY chose the one that loved her most and not the one she loved most. aaaah – angst

        Haven’t watched BBJX to date so am prejudiced because of GoW! 🙂 hopefully I am proven wrong and he rocks it!

        Am so looking forward to Rookie Agent Rouge and that eternal wave movie ! I watched that tomboy movie she did with Zhang Han and it was a pretty good rom-com. Nothing ground breaking but it was an enjoyable 2 hours 🙂

        You should totally watch BBJX when you can <33. His role is not one of the lead roles, but I did like him better than one of the leads.
        I saw Rise of a Tomboy, it was just okay for me. The pacing went kind of crazy towards the end, but I did laugh at times.

    • I remember reading that Zhao Liying first falls for one dude and then chose the later… So depending on how the script goes, I believe both men will get a fair amount of screen time ^^ I am sure this one will be very angsty and I am hoping for a lot of tear jerker moments!! Me too, girl, me too! Please make everyone super interesting ><

    Ladies ! (And gentlemen if any :)), I have refreshed hopes for LGX now. Just saw For A Few Bullets and he is definitely much more engaging there as an Indiana Jones type of adventurer. He seems more at ease in a lively role than the contemplative character he played in GoW.

        Hi! This thread is about ZLY new drama Princess Agent with Shawn Dou and Li Geng Xin. It’s shooting now and should be showing next year. I am commenting about Li Geng Xin performance in a movie that I just watched.
