I read this comment with all the exclamation and interrogation points; damn, someone is excited 8D Zhu Xian definitely takes the cake for the quality of the drama (OST, setting, casting) and I am soo happily surprised by the production team. I am also anticipating Ice Fantasy and so many others, July is crazy ><

Oh July is a good month, teehee. Personally I am a big fan of Kimi Qiao so I’m thrilled to have him in Never Gone, but will be tuning into Stay With Me for him as well..though obviously I’m the minority, lol. ^^

wrong new trailer was posted for Novoland: Castle in the Sky. The new one released July 5th is only 2min22 sec. Also week before that the team also released videos to 1. introduce the world of Novoland (mainly focusing on areas for the drama Castle in the Sky and the movie Naga Pearls) -english subbed, and 2. the fulll concept trailer (the very first one was the 22sec teaser we saw months back, this is the 2min12 version).

Unfortunately no airing dates for Zhu Xian yet 😭 Even though everybody thought it’s going to be on July 17 and Ice Fantasy will be airing on July 24th every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday each day 2 episodes.

I was too! I have been stalking Zhu Xian’s weibo every day for news but no announcement yet. I think there will be a press conference in Beijing on July 13 with the main actors in attendance if I read correctly from google translate 😳

Hi Ann, I don’t know why Ice Fantasy get prime time but there were rumors months ago that Ice Fantasy and Zhu Xian have been fighting tooth and nail to get PT during the very important summer vacation on Hunan Tv.

Yea, I read the news about the press conference too! Can’t wait. Maybe it’s because of the fanwar between Yang Zi and ZLY fans? Seems like the production company is stressed with campaigns to give more importance to both ZLY and Yang Zi. I mean, it’s already post-production… there’s nothing they can do about ZLY’s styling or screen time now. I’m a huge ZLY fan, but she’s meant to die 1/3 of the way into the book/series. And Yang Zi did film for 4 more months so she’s bound to receive more screen time as she’s meant to. I’m sure ZLY knew that she wouldn’t be getting more screen time when she signed up for this project too. She was filming for Zhu Xian, Mystic Nine, and the Eternal Waves movie at the same time. But, it’s really hard to see Yang Zi fans attack ZLY for bad acting and still undeservedly becoming Golden Eagle Goddess and various awards. Vice versa though, ZLY fans aren’t very nice about Yang Zi’s looks. I read early August for possible release? Regardless, Zhu Xian should do well cause it has Li Yifeng, Zhao Liying, and TF boys who are constantly ranked as the most popular stars in their respective categories (male actor, female actor, singer). Plus, the trailers clearly show that the overall production quality is much superior to City Fantasy

In my opinion too, Zhu Xian sounds better than Ice Fantasy! It is a shame that there is still fanwars between Yang Zi and Zhao Liying as honestly, this is the golden opportunity for them to get closer and succeed together. Hype wise, these is no question that ZLY is the trendiest as she is dominating the weibo drama chart now. But, her character will be in the drama for barely one third of the drama (as you say) so really, Yang Zi fans have nothing to worry. Anyway, it is quite obvious based on the trailer that the focus is all on Li Yifeng xD
Meanwhile, I am just waiting for the time when Zhao Liying will appear in Old Nine Gates!! >< I am up-to-date now and it seems that she will appear today!

Exactly, Li Yifeng is the real lead here! Supposedly, ZLY appears in the 9-10th episode (dressed as a male cab driver)! I’ve only watched the first episode. Which episode are you at now?

I am at episode 8 now! I am liking it so far for the eye candy, but I honestly feel like something is missing plot wise. I will definetely write a first impressions post soon, probably after Zhao Liying appears hehe

The fan war between those 2 ladies are intense which is very funny because they are buddies in real life and always go to eat together after filming and I think they are opening a restaurant together also. I avoided reading the comments sections because of the mud slinging .
