Where are my fellow Zhao Liying fans?! OMG! I am so pumped up about this π This is the first official look at her upcoming drama, Princess Agents.
Zhao Liying as Chu Qiao. She lives in the palace for eight years before going back to Yan Bei. Due to her kindness, she grows apart from Yan Xun.
Lin Gengxin as Yu Wenyue. He is the fourth young master of a long and prosperous family. Wenyue is known to be a loyal and patriotic man.
Shawn Dou as Yan Xun. He lives in the palace and seeks revenge.
Li Qin. She is the cute princess from Da Xia. She loves Yan Xun.

Yeah, the one he had in Chinese Hero aka God of War Zhao Yun. Li Qin’s stills and (the other ones too actually) reminds me a bit of Princess Weiyoung. I like Zhao Liying’s stills the most π

Li Qin looks so cute. Stills from her early days. She is one of the more tragic character for me…
Love Shawn’s look, meh about LGX. When I say she goes through hell it’s because she’s almost killed so many times…she is in so many fights I expect her to be blood and dirt soak very very frequently…

Can you tell us more about the plot of the novel? Li Qin looks pretty, but honestly… any actress that’s played an evil character has never gained popularity imo (Yang Rong)

I’m not sure I should be writing spoilers. Anyway, the drama will deviate from the book so I’m not even sure how much details will be retained. But I can give a brief insight of Li Qin’s character. She loves the first male lead but her dad (Da Xia’s King) is the one who killed the male lead’s family and kept him imprisoned. He pretends to treat her well during his confinement but he obviously harbours no feelings for her. After the male lead broke out of his confinement and well sort of created a war which sorta destroyed half her dad’s kingdom, she follows him in secret to assassinate him. She was no match of course and was just sent away…however through some misunderstandings was raped by his underlings. She became twisted and hell bent on revenge..to the extent of whoring herself to secure power and all…

O_O I feel bad for now, she seems to have done no wrong except being born in the wrong family, at the wrong time. But that sounds like an exciting character to see in live action! Thanks for the summary :3
