Another idol movie for this summer, this one taking place in the cold and dark lost tomb of Time Raiders. Anyone else excited to see Luhan back on the big screen? 🙂

Story (this is the drama version plot from wiki so movie may be different):
The Lost Tomb is an epic tale of action and adventure. Wu Xie is an antique shop owner who comes from a family of tomb raiders. As he continues the family trade with his team of tomb raiders, he finds lost treasures of the Warring States as well as the answers to the tragedies of his family’s past. With the help of his grandfather’s notes and his team – the quiet Zhang Qiling , the resourceful Pang Zi, the experienced Wu Sanxing, San Xing’s loyal helper Pan Zi, and the skillful Ah Ning – Wu Xie sets out to find the lost treasures as well as the people responsible for the massacre of his family.

I read a short description of the characters for Time Raiders and other than the names it seems quite different from Tomb Raiders. I haven’t read the books, can anyone tell me which one is a closer adaptation to the books?

I haven’t read the books, but the movie is an adaptation of the book The Lost Tomb, there was a web drama starring Li Yifeng, Yang Yang, and Tang Yan last summer. From the looks of it, the characters are indeed very different.

The movie is indeed very different from the novels and the drama adaptation. It feels like an attempt to put the overall storyline arc from the novel that continued through each book into a 2hr movie, with focus on Luhan and Jing Boran’s characters.

i want to ask you if you know what whappened between Luhan and Jingboran? some lufans called Jing boran snake and other things and say the only watching for luhan so i want to know

movies always hey subs, even if no subbing team do it ^^ There are rumours that Luhan is not getting along with the rest of the cast (possibly because Luhan’s company did something bad) and etc… but there is no official bews except bts pictures of Luhan eating alone (maybe it is the fans been worried for nothing ><)
